It looks like the end. The end of the USA as we know it. Supposedly this massive socialist, earmark riddled takeover of a large part of the free market will pass the senate putting tremendous pressure on the house to pass it as well. Even if the patriotic members who voted against it for the right reasons before vote NO again there is enough pork attached now to entice some of the others to sell out. Add to that our two “Glorious want to be leaders” have endorsed it and are scurrying back to Washington to cast their vote of approval.
As for those two. What a couple of winners we have to choose from!
We have Mr. Empty Suit Obama with lots of no substance pretty talk and corruption courtesy of the Chicago political machine. Backed by the media who won't even consider reporting on his ties to domestic terrorists and con men for fear of hurting his election chances. While he's chomping at the bit for the chance to implement his wealth redistribution agenda. If you're a religious person (even if you aren't) you may want to research the descriptions given of the Antichrist in comparison to this guy.
Then there's the Maverick. A true American hero whose service is worthy of respect and admiration. The problem is his policies on a good day are just to the right of Hillary Clinton. How can this be the best candidate the Republicans could come up with? It's a shame when the so called conservative in the race is shilling and voting for the socialism that is discussed at the beginning of this post. Gov. Palin gave me hope that I could vote for the republican ticket without having to hold my nose. However it appears that even a potential Star like Gov. Palin can't shine through the political fog that is McCain.
GOD, I hope I'm Wrong!

I'm just pissin' around with few modules and plugins I'm lookin at for use on another web site, so I'm more or less just testing them here. The new Random Images component on the right is one of them. It's kind of like the old one but intsead of just giving you a random image it's running a random image slideshow.
The other item is the embeded photo gallery seen below with some images I pulled from a recent set I did while playing with off camera manual flash and some macro stuff.

My nephew got married Saturday and their reception is the first time I realized that I'm one of the old people that sit around eating the food, drinking the beer and watching the youngsters having a good time instead of being one of the "kids" dancing and partying.
Of coarse I already knew I'm old but the realization that the "kids" know it too kind of hit me hard. I know that's silly because they knew it before I did.
I guess I had just never thought about it that way.
